Our vines are nestled in between lakes and ancient woodland at Lime Cross Nursery in the village of Herstmonceux. We are an artisan producer; everything is done by hand, love for the land and sustainability is at the heart of our ethos.

About us
Sisters Vicky & Helen Tate grew up roaming free around the nursery, riding ponies, swimming in ponds and hiding amongst the rare conifers that their father grew.
Today as the 3rd generation in their family to run the nursery, they are embarking upon a new exciting chapter growing vines and making wine.
Helen has a background in wine, having studied BSc Viticulture & Oenology at Plumpton College and Vicky brings a wealth of experience and knowledge with a background in horticulture.
