Romeo & Juliet By William Shakespeare performed by Open Bar Theatre @ The Secret Vineyard
This summer, we’re delighted to welcome Open Bar Theatre (Shakespeare in Fullers pub gardens) in partnership with The Dot Collective (A Christmas Carol/Alice in Aerialand) as they both celebrate 10 wonderful years of bringing professional open-air performances to community spaces near and far. And what better way to mark the occasion than with Shakespeare’s most iconic love story, Romeo & Juliet with a glass of Secret Vineyard wine!
Set against the Rose glow of Secret Vineyard wine glass on a summer evening, this enchanting outdoor production transports audiences to the vibrant festivities of a 16th-century Italian carnival. Expect bold colours, immersive staging, live atmosphere, and a world bursting with passion, drama, music, and theatrical magic as the sun sets and the story unfolds.
Guests are invited to become part of the celebration - dress in the festival spirit, gather with friends, and soak up the festival spirit beneath the open sky. New Hatha Yoga Class
We are thrilled to announce that a new gentle Hatha yoga class will be starting on November the 6th, with Sam Austen (connect with Sam on her Facebook page), taking place in the Geo Dome and then moving into the main building during the colder months. £10pp.
Sam’s based in Bexhill and is an expereinced and nurturing teacher, qualified through Yoga Alliance Certification, Sam is also a Registered General Nurse(RGN BSc).
The class will be gentle Hatha style gentle yoga, with a holistic approach for all abilities, beginners welcomed.
Hatha Yoga is generally suitable for all levels because it involves postures and foundational techniques, making it accessible to beginners, older adults, and even experienced practitioners.
Hatha yoga is a traditional, foundational branch of yoga that emphasises the physical and mental balance between body and mind through a combination of postures (asanas) and breathwork (pranayama)
The term "Hatha" literally means "force" but also combines the Sanskrit words for "sun" (ha) and "moon" (tha), representing a balance of active and calm energies. It typically involves holding poses for several breaths, making it a slower-paced practice that is often suitable for beginners.
If you are interested in joining this friendly and relaxed class please email Sam directly: yogawithsam1@hotmail.com or call on 07773 036405
